CSP however completely transforms the look to a point where visuals are even better than most of the racing games on the market. In vanilla form, Assetto does show its age especially compared to the new titles of this year. Custom shaders patch, CSP for short, acts as a graphic enhancement mod for the game. Content Manager/ Custom shaders patchĪs stated earlier, the holy trinity of mods is what elevates the Assetto Corsa experience to a whole new level. It revamps the weather system entirely and provides a plethora of varying conditions to choose from while also adding the option of dynamic weather in the game.ġ4. SOL is one of the biggest blessings and is part of the holy trinity with the Content manager and custom shaders patch. It feels rushed to development and does not offer any varying weather conditions such as rain, snow etc instead only simulating the clouds to give a look resembling the above-mentioned conditions. The track features dynamic night lighting that turns on at night and off during the day, it also features digital track flags, Grass FX, Rain FX, fireworks and working DRS Zones.It is safe to say that one of the shortcomings of Assetto Corsa lies in its underwhelming weather simulation. It will work without the patch, but the night lighting will not work. It is thoroughly recommended that anyone who downloads this track, ensures they have Custom Shaders Patch. The track was originally uploaded in August 2020, but has had regular updates - the latest being yesterday where the night lighting has been completely overhauled.
